About the Organization

Rolling Proud Run Club is a Tampa Bay–based running community dedicated to promoting health, wellness, and empowerment, particularly among underserved and underrepresented communities in the region. Through movement, community support, and wellness education, Rolling Proud encourages individuals to prioritize both their physical and mental well-being.

The Rolling Proud Finish Line Scholarship aims to inspire students in their mental and physical health journeys while supporting their goals of continuing their education after high school. This scholarship celebrates students who recognize the importance of health, perseverance, and community impact in shaping their futures.

🎓 Scholarship Use

Scholarship funds may be used toward continuing education after high school, including:

  • Associate’s degree programs

  • Bachelor’s degree programs

  • Trade or Vocational school programs

📌 What Your Video Must Include

Please make sure your video addresses the following topics:

  1. Introduce yourself

    • Name, grade level, and school.

  2. Your goals for higher education

    • Why do you want to pursue college, trade school, or another form of higher education?

  3. Impact on your family or community

    • How would your education positively impact your family, community, or others around you?

  4. What health and wellness mean to you

    • Describe how you define health and wellness in your own life.

  5. Healthy habits you practice

    • Share specific habits you use to stay physically, mentally, or emotionally healthy.

  6. Connection to success

    • Explain how health and wellness support your success in school, your goals, or your future life.

  7. Challenges and growth (optional but encouraged)

    • Share any obstacles you have faced in maintaining healthy habits and how you overcame them.

2026 Application Instructions

Video Application Prompt

Create a 3–5 minute video sharing how health and wellness play a role in your life, your future goals, and your path to higher education.

(Video format: MP4 or MOV preferred)

Ensure clear audio and lighting.

Application Deadline :April 30 at 11:59 PM (local time)

Tips for submission

• Be authentic and personal

• Share real examples from your life

• Speak clearly and stay organized

• Reflect on how your experiences have shaped you

• Show effort and creativity

• Late submissions will not be accepted.

Submission Instructions

  1. Upload your video to Google Drive, Dropbox, or another file-sharing platform.

  2. Make sure the sharing settings allow others to view the video.

  3. Submit your application by sending the video link and student information to:
